Privacy Policy
In short: the worry you type stays temporarily in the page memory on your device and is not sent to Throwaway's server.
1. What you type
Your text is handled locally in the browser to display it on the potato. Throwaway does not send it to an API, database, analytics system, advertiser, or AI service. It is cleared when the throw finishes or you leave.
2. Accounts and history
Throwaway requires no account and creates no history of your entries. Your language travels in the page URL and is not stored in localStorage, sessionStorage, or a preference cookie.
3. Sharing
If you choose to share, a generic victory card is created on your device. Neither the card nor its caption contains your original words.
4. Technical data
Throwaway uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, including page views, referring sites, device and browser types, and visitors' countries. Cloudflare may also process standard operational data such as IP address, access time, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. This never includes what you type in the worry box.
5. Google AdSense
After a throw is complete and your text has been cleared, Throwaway may load a Google AdSense ad. Google and its partners may process device information, IP addresses, cookies, or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. Throwaway does not give them your worry text.
Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited. A consent tool will be shown when required.
6. Voluntary support
The snack button may open an external payment service. Support is optional and unlocks nothing. That service handles payments under its own policy and receives no worry text from Throwaway.
7. Your rights and contact
Because Throwaway stores no worry entries or user profiles, there is normally no content record to access or delete. Use the Contact page for privacy questions.
